Dr. Hallie Prescott is an Associate Professor in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine at the University of Michigan and Ann Arbor Veterans Affairs Hospital. She attends in the medical intensive care unit and outpatient pulmonary clinic. She is an expert in long-term outcomes and recovery after sepsis. She leads current grants on the impacts of accelerating time-to-antibiotics in potential sepsis and novel methods of hospital performance measurement from the US Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and the US Department of Veteran’s Affairs, respectively. She is physician-lead for a Michigan statewide sepsis quality improvement collaborative with more than 60 participating hospitals. She is a vice-chair of the Surviving Sepsis Campaign guidelines, council member of the International Sepsis Forum, and a former ANZICS Intensive Care Global Rising Star fellow (2015).
